My, my, where has the time gone? One moment we were freezing in our cotton coats and now we’re in the middle of August. In a few weeks, we’ll be talking about Christmas. Ouch. But before we freak you out completely, we have some good news to share. From drinks and collections to our favourite new devices, here are All in the World’s staff favourites for the week.
We Stroll” gift box
Nick Hall – Editor-in-Chief
In my personal life, I’m notoriously bad at organising things, so a little encouragement goes a long way. This week, I stumbled across We Wander, a series of gift boxes filled with incredible experiences and offers. Inside, you’ll find private sunset helicopter trips, V8 hot laps, floating lessons, couples massages and a whole host of other activities to help get the adventure going. Best of all, these experiences are provided by a team of trendsetting experts who have gathered the best options from around the country. If you find yourself short on ideas for the day or night, this handy little plug-in can help you, as well as the local tourism and small business community.
K2 Mindbender 89Ti Men’s Freestyle Snowboard
Scott Purcell – Co-founder
I’m still in Queenstown and have just had my last day of skiing. I would be unfair if I didn’t give a shout out to these skis, I think they are absolutely epic. At 89mm feet, these are the perfect all-mountain ski for carving flat, or even soft snow. It features the same Titanal Y-Beam construction as its metal-reinforced Mindbender siblings. the Titanal, despite the ridiculous name, has long been used on high-end skis, providing a wet, stable ride at high speeds. They are some of the best skis I have ever skied and would highly recommend them if you are renting any demos.
Podcast. Hot Money
Frank Arthur – co-founder
It’s no secret that sex sells, which is why online porn is a multi-billion dollar industry. Sites such as Redtube, Pornhub and Onlyfans have risen rapidly over the past few decades, but the story of how they achieved financial success remains somewhat of a mystery. The Financial Times’ ‘Hot Money’ podcast investigates the business behind some of the most high-profile modern porn empires of the digital age. I’ve just finished listening to the eight-part podcast series and the stories revealed are truly fascinating.
Hot Money explores the 3Ps – pornography, power and profit. As you might expect, the porn industry is a moral, ethical and legal minefield, but there is a great deal of wealth to be made for those who can successfully navigate these challenges. So if you’re interested in learning about the inner workings of the industry and the unexpected stories of billionaires and financial institutions who wield power, I highly recommend you take a listen.
New You Fitness – Darlinghurst
Sam Mangione – Journalist – Entertainment & Culture
Throughout my training I have been to countless gyms in my quest to sculpt the perfect physique. The idea of group workouts has always appealed to me, but I have often questioned the effectiveness of many of the programs. However, I recently stumbled upon a gym near our office in Darlinghurst called New You Fitness and it has changed my life. Firstly, the schedule is specifically designed to improve all aspects of your health and wellbeing. From weights and sprints to endurance, it targets all areas that need to build a total fitness level. In addition, the owner Matt is a complete legend and has built a fantastic community of members. If you want to get super strong while having loads of fun, I highly recommend checking it out.

After seeing my Instagram feed flooded with posts about infrared saunas, I was keen to try one out for myself and see if it lived up to the hype. So earlier this week, I booked a session at Rimba Sweat, one of Sydney’s most famous infrared sauna studios. And let me tell you, this place is a total game changer. Not only did it detoxify my body, but the 50-minute session also gave my mind a blissful rejuvenation. Whether you’re looking to improve muscle recovery, reduce stress, burn calories or get a big night sweat going, Rimba Sweat is a one-stop shop for revitalising body and soul. Better still, the venue’s European aesthetic will instantly transport you overseas, reducing the FOMO that us non-travellers now feel. each studio has a built-in screen and speakers so you can play music or listen to podcasts after a long day at work. I highly recommend you check them out.
